Dog Days of Summer Event, Saturday, July 13th.

Dog Days of Summer is the only day of the year the Quincy Town Center goes to the dogs! This a whole family, fun filled day INSIDE the Quincy Town Center. Bring your canine companions and participate in the fun or just come spend the day and watch the excitement. In the morning there will be the ever famous, highly competitive Doxie Derby, Puppy Rookie Races, Small Breed Mixed Breed Races, and Small Dog Senior Races (for those who still want to compete but just aren’t as fast as we used to be). There will be a Peanut Butter Licking Contest for all shapes and sizes of dogs. Enter your dog in the musical sit / cake walk and see who gets to take home the cake! There will be vendors thru out the mall. Spin the wheel and get a chance for your dog to dive into a baby pool filled with toys. Create a keepsake paw print. In the afternoon will be the 2024 Quincy’s Best Rescue Dog Competition!!! Enter your dog in as many categories as you like from Best Kisser, Best Wiggle Butt, Best Senior, Best Owner/Pet Look Alike and more. The winner of each category will compete to be named Quincy’s Best Rescue Dog! Entrance to the mall is free. Race participant entry fee is $20 and the participant entry fee for the Quincy Best Rescue Dog Competition is $20. $20 event fee includes an event tshirt, (1) raffle ticket and a goody bag. New this year we will be introducing the community to GRC (Gameness – Responsibility – Control) DogSports. The mission of GRC Dogsports is to provide PEOPLE with the motivation to give their dogs the training they need to thrive in this world, and a healthy place to put all of their natural drives. GRC DogSports brings back the old games to show not just the amazing gameness and relationship, but also the control and teamwork you can achieve through training. This is a fun way to train with your dog. You won’t want to miss stopping by and learning more about this.
