To help you maintain a healthy and active lifestyle, Blessing Health and Quincy Town Center have partnered to create the Pacesetters program. Participation is free and open to everyone. Just 2 ½ trips around the inside perimeter of the center accounts for one mile.
Pacesetters members are provided blood pressure checks every Tuesday 10 – 11 a.m. Health educational materials are also available throughout the year at no cost. By participating in the Pacesetters program sponsored by Blessing, you’ll benefit from:
- Safe exercise environment: You can get in your steps in a safe, weather-free environment. Simply put on your walking shoes and head to the Quincy Town Center. Although you can walk the center anytime, coming early before stores open means fewer crowds and easier walking.
- Expert advice: Blessing Health System offers its professional expertise free, and services are available to any interested member of the public each Tuesday at the Blessing Health System kiosk located near the center’s east entrance (near the movie theatre). Because the Pacesetters program is staffed by clinical professionals from Blessing Health System, hours may be adjusted occasionally per hospital/clinic needs. As with any screening or wellness event, this service is not intended to replace the healthcare you receive from your regular provider.
- Special walking hours: Quincy Town Center opens its doors daily from 7 AM to walkers and closes at 8 PM Monday through Saturday (5 PM on Sundays).
